Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: * Class 10th (Matriculation) Pass OR
ITI Certificate from NCVT/SCVT OR
National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
Age Limit (as of Jan 1, 2026):
Minimum: 18 Years
Maximum: 33 Years (General/EWS)
Relaxations: OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5 years), PwBD (10-15 years).
💰 Application Fee & Refund
The RRB offers a partial refund of the application fee after you appear for the Computer Based Test (CBT).
General / OBC / EWS: ₹500 (₹400 refunded after CBT)
SC / ST / PwBD / Female / Transgender / Minorities: ₹250 (Full ₹250 refunded after CBT)
📝 Selection Process
The recruitment follows a four-stage process to ensure candidates are both mentally and physically fit for the roles:
Computer Based Test (CBT): Covers Science, Maths, Reasoning, and General Awareness.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
Males: Carry 35kg for 100m (in 2 min) + Run 1000m (in 4 min 15 sec).
Females: Carry 20kg for 100m (in 2 min) + Run 1000m (in 5 min 40 sec).
